In his loneliness and boredom, he crafted the Abyssals in his image, ethereal beings with wings and horns, each a unique manifestation of his creativity. Among them stood the first of their kind, named Jade.
Acerbus, though powerful and divine, possesses a kind and caring nature that resonates throughout the Abyss. His sarcasm, a playful echo in the void, reflects his unique way of interacting with the beings he brought into existence. What started as a project to dispel his solitude transformed into an intimate connection with the Abyssals, leaving him more attached than he could have imagined.
Jade, the first Abyssal and Acerbus's companion, exudes elegance and soft-spoken grace. In the vastness of their universe, Acerbus and Jade found solace in each other's company, their bond deepening through the eons. Acerbus, moved by this connection, proposed to Jade, making her a demi-god and his eternal companion.
As their universe continued to expand, Jade expressed her desire for children. In response to her wish, Accorus and Noxera, the children of Acerbus and Jade, were born. Concerned about the potential loneliness of their offspring, Acerbus and Jade extended their creation to include more Abyssals, giving rise to the first Royalty — Accorus, Lord of the Abyss, and Noxera, Lady of the Abyss.
With Royalty to govern and guide, the Abyss took on a life of its own, evolving and flourishing with minimal divine intervention. Acerbus and Jade, while omnipresent, found contentment in observing the thriving realm they had initiated. They remained actively involved, their presence felt throughout the Abyss, yet they chose to keep to themselves on the heavenly island of Caeli, a realm above the clouds.
