Overview

Description

Akuma is a radiant realm bathed in golden light, where honor is not just a virtue but the very foundation of society. Forged under the wise and strong leadership of Serastin Akuma, the land stands as a beacon of integrity and order. It was here, in the heart of Akuma, that the first true currency was born—crafted not merely as a tool of trade, but as a symbol of trust, promise, and mutual respect among its people.

Known far and wide as the Land of Fortunes, Akuma holds a mystical hold for abyssals born with chaos and misfortune. Within its borders, even they find their luck transformed. Beyond its economic might, Akuma's landscape is a reflection of its leader. Rugged mountains rise across the terrain, their slopes alive with vibrant plants and blossoms. Golden wheat stretches wide across the countryside, waving in the wind. Cities are built not just to be beautiful, but to welcome and protect the people who live there. The people of Akuma are known for their strong values, fierce loyalty, and a shared belief that true wealth is found in good character and a strong heart, not just in money.

Tradition's:

The land of Akuma is home to both Abyssals and the luminous. Lit by countless lanterns! These lanterns are more than just decorations, they are a deeply caring tradition, each one originally made as a gift to wish someone a happy and prosperous life. Every year, on the birthday of their lord, Serastin Akuma, the people release these lanterns into the sky. The night fills with a warm, golden light as a thank you for all the good he has done for them. They also use this beautiful tradition to honor their god, Acerbus. When a new year passes, they send specially decorated, brightly colored lanterns up into the sky for him as a sign of their thanks and loyalty.

The Watcher:

"I pledge to stand as a guardian for the helpless and defend those in pain—by my shield, I vow no harm shall ever reach you"

Zenkichi, the Abyssal Watcher of Akuma, stood as an unyielding wall when the War of Oblivion raged across the realms. While darkness swept through Akuma, he placed himself at the forefront, his massive shield raised, drawing the fury of the corrupted towards him and away from his people. He fought not for glory, but to shield the vulnerable, enduring every blow so others wouldn’t have to. In the war's desolate aftermath, Akuma lay broken—its structures shattered, its spirit crippled by a despair that even touched the gods. But Zenkichi refused to let despair take root. Tirelessly, he labored alongside survivors, rebuilding homes, restoring hope, and mending the soul of the city. Stone by stone, heart by heart, Akuma rose again—brighter, stronger, he swore an oath to protect that reclaimed greatness for all time. Today, he walks among the very folk he protected, not as a distant legend, but as a quiet presence in the marketplace, at festivals, or on quiet hilltops overlooking the land. He accepts offerings not out of greed, but as silent acknowledgments of shared sacrifice. He watches Akuma evolve, season by season, generation by generation. He also takes it upon himself—unnecessarily, but meaningfully—to greet each new Royal upon their ascension. Not out of duty, but out of devotion. He shows them the city’s veins and virtues, guiding them to understand the weight of their role. He did so when Serastin arrived—chosen, and unmistakable. The moment Zenkichi laid eyes on him, he knew. Serastin’s jagged, mountain-like spikes mirrored the peaks that cradle Akuma. The gold tracing his body shimmered like the coins and promises that once flowed through the city’s veins, fueling its revival. He carried both the weight and radiance of Akuma itself. Observing the sharp and noble youth, Zenkichi could only murmur in quiet awe “The Siblings truly know their choices”
