Carneliths Unlimited Applications open

Due to a Noctivorouses Carnivorus diet, the aftermath is often quite ugly. Scattered bones, leftover meat that may begin to rot or half eaten corpses of prey that smells horrid after a few days if not preserved. The so-called Carneliths are the clean up crew of the deep dark and move carcasses, bones as well as undesirable meat out to the outskirts of the dark forest. Which is why Abyssals find these remains in the first place. However, to an extent, these cleaners also grind bones into bone meal to scatter over the ground to nurture the soil and keep the forests thick. Oftentimes they adorn themselves with bones or create totem-like structures with them to mark their territory.

Carneliths also have some loyal helpers, the mourning moths. Unlike the Luminous companions, these moths resemble the hawk moth genus strongly, they chirp and squeak when touched or feed on leftovers often creating a spine chilling orchestra of skittering sounds. These moths are cared for by Carneliths while they care for any rot and decay to keep their living spaces clean. Housed in large organic looking greenhouses or deep crystallized caves, being around the size of a cat these critters are often loyal followers to the Carneliths.
